Halifax Young Singers is proud to present an exciting 19th season which will see the choir linking up with other young musicians both in this country and abroad. Here's where you'll find us:

Every Thursday during the Calderdale school terms - rehearsals at 6.45pm and 8.00pm at Carlton URC, Halifax.(Map) New members are welcome at any rehearsal.

Saturday 16th October 2010 - Halifax Young Singers 'in Concert' at Carlton United Reformed Church at 7.30pm. (Map)

Sunday 12th December 2010 - Halifax Young Singers will join in the Salvation Army Christmas Service in the presence of the Mayor of Calderdale, beginning at 5.00pm.

Saturday 18th December 2010 - Halifax Young Singers will join with the Huddersfield Methodist Choir and Skelmanthorpe Brass Band to celebrate Christmas in Huddersfield Town Hall at 7.15pm.

Sunday 19th December 2010 - Halifax Young Singers and Kirklees Youth Symphony Orchestra present their Christmas Concert at St Paul's Hall, Huddersfield at 2.00pm.

Saturday 12th March 2011 - Halifax Young Singers is proud to be supporting Overgate Hospice joining in the "Come and Sing" The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace event at Halifax Minster. Rehearsals begin at 10.00am and the performance will be at 6.00pm.

Sunday 3rd April 2011 - Halifax Young Singers is proud to be supporting The Mayor of Kirklees charities through the National Association of Choirs Gala Concert at Huddersfield Town Hall at 3.00pm.

Saturday 21st May 2011 - Halifax Young Singers 'in Concert' at Carlton United Reformed Church at 7.30pm. (Map)

Saturday 25th June 2011 - Halifax Young Singers 'in Concert' at St Mary's Church, Luddenden at 7.30pm.

Thursday 30th June 2011 - The Youth Choir will present their informal "Sweeties Concert" at Carlton URC, Halifax at 7.00pm.(Map)

Additional events will be arranged during the season including taking part in the Calderdale heat of the National Festival of Music for Youth in March.
